# Referral

Thanks to our referral program, you can earn a referral commission on your affiliate's transactions. For every swap, trade, or other operation made by your affiliate on the Ago platform, you'll receive a percentage of fees generated.

If you have AGO, you can stake it to increase your share.

Thanks to this incentive, we aim to develop the platform's network effect. In short, the more protocol users there are, the more valuable the protocol becomes. That's why we have to incentivize the right actions - those that make the platform more valuable.

We wish to develop a platform that reflects the needs and expectations of our ambassadors. This means that as an ambassador, you'll play a key role in the development of Ago by participating in surveys and competitions run via the platform.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://agodefi.gitbook.io/ago-defi/ecosystem/referral.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
